DIY Patterned Happy Planner Dividers

Have you jumped on this bandwagon yet? I love my Happy Planner, so much so I have the large one as well as the teacher lesson plan book. I have to say though, it all started last year when I got my Arc system notebook from Staples. I love the convenience of the ring bound system and how you can add and take away easily as you need. I recently got the hole punch for the Happy Planner and now I am able to use it for all my planners and my Arc book- amazing! I have been setting things up for the school year and I saw these file folders that I thought would make adorable dividers for my Arc notebook so I thought  I would show you how I made them!

I saw these file folders at the one spot at Target and I loved the bright colors, I knew I had to make them work for dividers!

First, I cut them in half and cut just beyond the fold so I got rid of the rounded edge.

I needed to shorten up the length a bit at this point to make them 11 inches long so I cut an inch off the opposite end of the tab.

For the one with the middle tab I took a half inch off the top and the bottom.

Next I got out my Happy Planner hole punch and centered them on the lines provided. I love the bright pink!

Perfect!

All that was left now was to add them to my notebook and label them!

You could use them for months in the Happy Planner or to divide other inserts like financial or fitness! Do you have any Happy Planner tips? Let me know in the comments below!
