Palm Breeze Frozen Fruit Cocktail

Ever have one of those days where you just need a vacation? Yeah, me too. I am also pretty sure that we can relate on the fact that it isn’t really an option to just pick up the family, jump on a plane and land on a beach somewhere. While that would be amazing, it isn’t very realistic. Instead, why not whip up a cold cocktail, fire up the grill and create a vacation vibe in your own back yard? Today I am sharing the perfect backyard frozen cocktail ready for any spur of the moment backyard vacation. Check it out!

Pretty sweet, right? All you need is a 6 pack of Palm Breeze in your favorite flavor, I went with Pineapple Mandarin Orange but the Ruby Red Citrus is amazing as well, some frozen fruit and orange juice, that’s it!

Start by throwing about 2 cups of frozen fruit in a blender (this ended up making enough for two cocktails).

Then I added orange juice until it came just to the top of the berries.

Then blend it up until you have a delicious smoothie like mixture (it will be thicker than a traditional smoothie).

Next up I grabbed a mason jar because I am a blogger and that is what we drink everything out of and filled it up 2/3 of the way with the Palm Breeze. Go ahead and then finish off whatever is left in the can- it is certainly delicious on it’s own as well!

Then pour in about half of the mixture or until you drink is filled to the top and enjoy! I added a slice of lemon to add to the vacation vibe but that is certainly optional. This is a delicious, fruity take on a traditional cocktail and the perfect drink on a hot summer afternoon… or after a long day of laundry.
