Alright y’all, January is the start of a lot of things for everyone, but there is a little added layer of fun in Avery’s class that also starts in January. BIRTHDAY SEASON! This little crew of friends have been together for years now so I have gotten into the routine of not really attending too many parties in the beginning of the year only to be hit with 6 months of packed schedules starting in January. We all love to attend the parties but buying all those gifts can be expensive and hand making that many gifts can also be super time consuming. This is the best of both worlds, fast, easy, affordable and you can personalize it to whatever the birthday boy or girl is into. Check out these fun personalized child’s aprons!
Now, I got the Cricut Explore for my birthday about a month ago and I have been making things even more often than normal if you can believe that. I am also a super fan of anything that I can make with vinyl as well because it is so fast and easy to design something, cut and then iron. I love the way these little aprons came out and just to prove how fast and easy this is, I made a video- a video that is less than 5 minutes long!
Ok, to be fair, I did speed through the weeding but even with all of that this was still a way under 10 minute craft. Perfect for the mommy that may be so busy that she might have waited until right before the party to put these together. Not that we know anyone like that, right?! These two were for sisters who love Frozen so I made an Elsa crown with the big sisters name and an Anna crown with the little sisters name. Then they got all wrapped up in small boxes and with a couple of sheets of scrapbook paper and I was done! I added some washi tape instead of ribbon and made a tag with the Cricut cut and write option! Fun!
What is your go to birthday gift?
