Thanksgiving Hostess Gifts

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is next week?! I KNOW!! But don’t stress out too much, because I have got your back! Not only am I sharing some adorable hostess or guest gifts today from my fabulous Paper Crafting Contributor Eden- BUT I am also sharing even more helpful ideas this weekend! But first things first, let’s hand it off to Eden!

 *****

Hello all! Eden here and I have some more great ideas using SVGs, my Cricut Explore and some of my other favorite tools! I have made 3 gifts today that work great for kids, guests and hostesses so let’s get started! We will start with the hostess- what hostess doesn’t need want a bottle of wine? Exactly.

Wine Bottle Tag Materials:

  • From Jaded Blossoms:  Wine Tag Die, 1/2 of a Candy Wrap Die to form the tag, “For the Hostess” Stamp set
  • From SVG Cutting Files: Pilgrim Boy svg from the file called Pilgrims (which also includes a little girl pilgrim)
  • Other Materials used: Cuttlebug embossing folder called Thistle Tile by Anna Griffin. Twine and paper from my stash.

After finding the Pilgram SVG I started the process of cutting all the pieces and doing this can take a lot of time. In order to cut down as much time as possible when cutting I arrange the paper all on the same mat to cut everything at the same time.

Then everything got pieced all together!

Now let’s move onto the Candy Holder- here is what I used, also great for a hostess:

  • From Jaded Blossoms: Candy Caddy Die, Candy Wrap Dies, “For the Hostess” Stamp Set, “Thanksgiving Candies” Stamp set
  • From SVG Cutting Files: Turkey svg was from a file called Gobble til you Wobble
  • Other materials used: Paper & twine from my stash and the grass & clouds were cricut cuts

I arranged the paper in the same way to save time, just make sure the measurements match up with your screen.

Here is the finished product after it was pieced together and embellished!

Lastly, I have a much easier option, this would be great on the table or as a favor and Michelle may have been able to put together a printable for all of you who don’t yet have the Cricut Explore as well!

For this one I designed it all in the Cricut Design Studio and used the Print and Cut feature to print it out then cut out the rectangle onto Cricut Sticker Paper.

Then I mounted that on orange cardstock and the 5 inch by 2.5 inch size is perfect for the standard Ziploc bags full of chocolate treats!

Thanks so much for having me!

They are all so cute! Thank you so much Eden for sharing these adorable gifts with everyone! As promised, if you don’t have a Cricut Explore (like me!!! It is on my birthday list though!!) then I have a made a printable for you to use to put together the cute little Thanksgiving bags with the chocolates. I think I might have to make these for my daughter’s class!
