Red & Gold Thanksgiving Table Decor

We did it! We got through Thanksgiving!! I loved how everything went and I felt much more prepared and put together and I wasn’t overly stressed at any point throughout the day. Thank goodness to preparation!! Check out the results!

Let’s start with the table, shall we? I used a plain brown table cloth for the base and the runner was a roll of $2 wrapping paper from Michael’s. On top of that were gold chargers, plates, napkins and wood burned birch tags which I shared a tutorial for HERE.

For the centerpiece I used gold glittered branches, cranberries and jars of cranberries with gold floating candles. The gold spray painted pumpkins were a last minute addition. The stemless wine glasses are from the Dollar Tree!

I was so glad that the table was set, but I knew that would be the easy part! The most stressful part? Pie crust! I started making pies and crusts from scratch on a year when that was the only thing I was able to bring and now, I always do it if not only for the pride in being able to say- I made that. All my pie recipes come from my Pioneer Woman cookbooks. Amazing- always.

Next up in stress level was the turkey but I went with two smaller turkeys and I think that made everything much easier. I did one in the rotisserie and one in the oven and they both cameĀ  out great. Thank goodness- all the food was wonderful thanks to many members of the family!
