**This is a sponsored campaign with Rich Products and is a gifting initiative that encourages people to visit their grocer’s bakery to find easy and delicious treats that they can personalize and give as gifts on Valentine’s Day and every day. All ideas and opinions are my own. **Valentines day is such a fun holiday for putting together sweet treats for everyone you know- but even though it is a lot fun, that doesn’t mean we have all the time in the world to do it- right?! That is why today I wanted to share some fun and easy ideas you can make for everyone on your list with a little help from your local grocery store.
AND I am going to hook 3 of you all up with gift cards to your grocery store so you can make your own Valentines goodies!
We are all so busy and we need to save time any way we can, and a that is why I love going to the bakery section of my little grocery store down the street, grabbing a bunch of pre-baked sweets and then putting my own little twists on them to give to family and friends. There is just as much thought, but half the work!
Here is the background, at Scott’s day program there are 35 people in his group and 15 staff for those participants- that is 50 people to make treats for at every holiday. Then I have our family and Avery’s whole little playgroup of friends that is about 10 kids and their families. I love to make each holiday fun, but when you are talking about numbers in the 60’s or more, you want easy treats that you can put together quickly. I care about all these people, but I don’t have the time to make 100 cookies, and quite frankly, the cookies in the bakery section are just as good and whole lot cheaper to make. That is where it gets me, I am able to save time AND money, and still give adorable and thoughtful treats on Valentines day and any day that will hopeful brighten someone’s day.
I used some basic materials to create all of these sweet treats- whenever I need to make treats for a number of people, I like to simplify and reuse many different ingredients to save money and make the whole process faster. You can dip everything in your chocolate at the same time, sprinkle at the same time, cool and wrap at the same time and done! I really love the assembly line method when I am try to create a lot of anything quickly.
Here is my Valentines Tool Kit
- A variety of baked goods from the grocery store- I picked up cake doughnuts and doughnut holes, mini cupcakes, pound cake, and chocolate and chocolate chip cookies
- White chocolate and red velvet candy melts
- Paper Straws
- Valentine Sprinkles
- Cellophane bags and baker’s twine for packaging
With all of those materials, I was able to make these fun treats- enjoy the slide!
Now, are you ready for your chance to win your own gift card so you can get started creating your own Valentine treats?!
