Affordable Christmas Tree {$50 TOTAL}

I love decorating a Christmas tree because it is like a giant craft project that starts as a blank canvas and can be ANYTHING. I wanted to challenge myself this year by making a completely affordable tree from start to finish that used things I had on hand and handmade ornaments. Now friends, when I say that this tree was $50 total- that is INCLUDING the tree itself!!

I think I like this tree more because of how frugal it ended up being! Here is the break down:

Gold Ribbon Garland- Free (from stash)

Burlap Tree Skirt Alternative- Free (from stash) Simple Tutorial coming TOMORROW!

Cinnamon Pine Cones- $2

christmas tree 3Wood and Gold Ornaments- $7 (total) I am sharing the tutorial for these on Friday but if you can’t wait I shared this tutorial last week on A Glimpse Inside and you can find that post HERE.

christmas tree 424 Gold Ornaments- $2 (2 packs of 12 at Dollar Tree)

Gold Bow Tree Topper- $2 from Joanns on Christmas Clearence
