Carnival Party

Today was the last day of camp, I can’t believe that it is over already!!

Today, I threw a big carnival to celebrate with the kids and they had a blast!

Of course I had to set a table, naturally. For this one I got some cute red and white stripped paper and treat bags that I filled with goodies. I was able to save money on plates by just using the white ones we had at the school and then I added a red napkin and fun over-sized plastic straw. For the centerpieces I put a frappachino jar inside a dollar store vase (both from my own stash) and then put the tickets between the two. The balloons were stuck inside the frappachino bottles and it was  done!

I got out all our colored hair sprays, face painting, nail polish, and temporary tattoos and set up stations for the children to get all decorated- they love this stuff!

I also set up some games from our school’s yearly carnival in the spring, in the middle of the area in front of the snack table. The snacks included popcorn, caramel apples and snow cones!

I even made a photo op with the same table cloth and some bouquets of balloons!

My little one was not feeling too cooperative in my photo taking request, oh well, she is still cute!

It was a lot of fun, much like my entire summer!
