Quick and Easy Drop Cloth Banner

I had such a busy day today spending time with a friend I haven’t seen in almost a decade. Can’t believe that! But I still came home and got my craft on!I am really enjoying making projects for the garden and so I thought I would experiment with making an outdoor banner! I was able to put together a 12 triangle banner in NO time with a stamp I made on my own so I think I could make one for the whole fence pretty quickly, easily and affordable!

First, I am going to share the simple stamp I made, it started with a piece of scrap wood.

Then I grabbed some adhesive foam from Avery’s art box. I cut it in a chevron pattern.

I took off the backing and stuck them on the block. It doesn’t get easier!

I made a simple template from a piece of card stock and traced it on to the drop cloth.

Then it was as simple as painting the stamp and making a print on the canvas!

Spring in San Diego isn’t too hot or too cold so I just hot glued this to some twine real quick to experiment and it worked great!

Such a sweet addition, I can’t wait until it is the length of the fence!

Do you decorate your garden?
