Wood Garden Sign

I shared with you all our garden a couple of weeks ago, and I have exciting news.

It is still alive!

I am pretty excited. So I wanted to start making some little decorative pieces to put outside and add some pops of colors and this sign was the first thing that came to mind!

It was super simple to make, I just used some vinyl as a stencil and a couple of cans of spray paint, the piece of wood I found in the garage and didn’t even have to cut to size!

I first spray painted the wood white, then I was going to add the negative stencil to make yellow letters, but, to be honest, I spilled coffee on the stencil and couldn’t use it. So I just used it to help me eyeball the spacing.

Then I put the letters on.

I took it out to the garage and gave the whole thing a couple of coats of yellow.

Then while it was wet I pulled off all the letters and let it dry.

It only seemed fitting to have it next to our yellow tomatoes- and that is cauliflower too, they are both doing great!

What kind of things do you like to add to your garden?

That turned out super cute. I guess it worked out that you spilled coffee :) We’re about to move so my garden is currently in containers, but I’m going to make cute little name stakes to put in each of the pots.
