Mason Jar Gifts {Happy Handmade Holidays}

I am so excited to kick off Happy Handmade Holiday week with Kara from Mine for the Making!This is a whole week of handmade holiday gift ideas you can make for all the special people in your life!!

I had to start with one of the most fabulous and easy go to gift ideas, things in mason jars!!

I love mason jars, don’t you? You can do a million things with them!! They make even plain cupcakes fancy!

Do you like my peppermints? They are marshmallows! I love the look of peppermints but they a little much for on top of cupcakes, but these marshmallows are perfect!

They were easy to make, I just took an edible food pen in red and made stripes on the side of the marshmallow.

Then I squished it down.

And you have a little peppermint!

Put those on top of cute little cupcakes and you have an easy gift!

The next idea is equally fun and easy. Pancake mix in a jar!

I have seen this done with homemade dry mix, but it is even easier with a simple box mix! You know, for the truly last minute gift, we all need backups! I just poured it in the jar and added a piece of fabric and the recipe and done!

Last is my go to staple, love cookie mixes in a jar!!  The only requirement for these is a cookie recipe that calls for brown sugar and sugar because the color difference makes the jar look great! I used the recipe on the Nestle bag of chocolate chips for this one. I have always gotten rave reviews for these!

Go ahead and head on over to see what great ideas Kara is sharing with us today, HERE!!

    I wonder if I could do this with regular marshmallows? I bet my kids would get a kick out it!
