Washi Tape Kids Projects

Mondays are “Made by Little Hands” days, or the day when I share a project, you can do with your kids. Even thought it is Washi week, I still wanted to keep with my theme and come up with a project you could do with the kids.

Part of me was like, should I really? What if she uses it all up? Then I thought I should stop acting like a two year old and share my toys with my daughter. I want her to grow up crafting with mommy and that means letting her use materials as they become appropriate and available. Plus, the point is to use the stuff, the point is to run out and need more.

So once I got over all of that, I figured, washi tape is like any other colored tape and can be collaged or used like stickers. With that in mind I just grabbed two items from the dollar bin at Joanns; another birdhouse (I am a super fan of the one dollar birdhouse) and a frisbee. Two things that will find their way outdoors when finished.

The possibilities really are endless and you can come up with a million applications!

Make sure you stay tuned this week for all the fun Washi Tape Ideas!!
