I am ALL about crafting with what I have on hand,
I mean, we all are right?
But, I found some scrap wood at my mom’s house (remember my wooden pumpkins?) and I wanted to make a couple more Halloween decorations since we are having a party in a couple of weeks.
Did I mention I have a smaaaaallll budget for said party- cheapy crafts for decor are a MUST!
Here is what I came up with:
Cute right? I am into ghosts lately apparently

First, here is the wood I had to use- absolutely NOTHING special, before I worked with it I sanded the edges and sides to smooth it out.
Then I painted the front white (you see two pieces of wood because I made another project with the other one, you will get to see it also this week- don’t worry).
Then I took a black ink pad and added it to all of the edges.
Next, I grabbed some vinyl.
Cut off a little piece and drew on big oval and two smaller ones.
Then all I had to do was cut them out,
and add them on! Ghosts are quick, easy, simple and adorable! Perfect for this mama to decorate!
I put it in my entry way display. I also added some spiders I just cut from black card stock coming down the wall.
Hey, here is a question… do you see the little pumpkin- would you all like to see that tutorial? I made those pumpkins completely from newspaper and string that I then spray painted. I still haven’t figured out if I like them so I haven’t posted the tutorial so maybe you could help me decide.
Get ready, there are a ton of cute projects to share this week for Halloween!
