5 Minute Egg Shakers

While I had my Easter eggs out making my Glittered Easter Egg Birds, I thought I would make some egg shakers really quickly as well. These are always a hit with young children, and when they are this easy to make, why not make a pair for everyone! They would be great in an Easter basket or as a project for Sunday. Just make them as far as I did and then get out the scrapbook paper or fabric and Mod Podge and let them go to town!

Here is what you need:

  • Plastic Easter Eggs
  • Hot Glue
  • Rice or other noise making material (I had some vase filler so that is what I used)

First add your rice or other material to the inside.

Last hot glue the inner rim and close the egg firmly.

Really, it is that easy- now they are ready for whatever decoration you choose!

There are tons of really cute collaged eggs all over the bloggy world and it is a great family activity!
